How We Started
Vortex began as a small duct cleaning operation that Matt Inbody ran out of his truck. Customers kept asking for help with the bigger problems behind the dirty air, water damage, hidden mold, the kind of mess most companies wouldn't touch.
Matt and Natalie Inbody built the company to handle exactly that. Twenty years later, we're still family owned, still answering our own phone, and still based in Derby.
Our Team
Matt leads the field crews and runs every large loss personally. Natalie handles operations, customer communication, and insurance coordination. Our technicians are background checked, IICRC trained, and most have been with us for years. When you call, you talk to a person who knows your job.

If we think you should get a second opinion, we say that too. Our reputation in this town took twenty years to build, and we're not trading it for one oversold job.
Why We Focus on Wichita and Derby
We live here. Our kids go to school here. Staying local means we get to your property in under an hour, we know which neighborhoods have the older plumbing, and we run into our customers at the grocery store. We have no plans to franchise out or chase work two hours away. This community is the whole point.
